Modeled after the floral tradition of Augusta National, The Mook celebrates the connection between golf and the natural world. Each hole is paired with a native plant or ornamental species—carefully chosen to reflect Oregon’s rich botanical diversity and the artistry of the course design.
🌿 Botanical Collection — “Nature at The Mook”
Our vision is to create a botanical garden that preserves the many plants and trees native to the Oregon Coast, and highlight the many imported flowering plants & trees that thrive here.
The Gardens are heavily planted in many species of hydrangeas, flowering dogwoods, and tulip magnolia trees, all a signature of the Oregon Coastal Flower’s collection.
From Port Orford Cedar to Pacific Rhododendron, the flora of The Mook tells the story of Oregon’s coastal ecosystem. These trees, shrubs, and flowers are more than decoration—they’re an integral part of the course’s design, rhythm, and natural beauty.
