SUMMARY:Kaitlyn Convery - Music - 6 to 8pm
DESCRIPTION:Bio: \nBittersweet angst and optimism weave through Katelyn Convery’s music\, piercing the frontier of modern alt-rock\, and harkening back to the edgy era of 90s NW grunge\, with textures characteristic of early 2000s indie-pop. Alluring melodies\, compelling arrangements\, and perceptive\, unapologetic lyrics land as a ferocious\, buttery roar. The result: something altogether timeless and new. And getting noticed. \nConvery’s latest album Miles Awake boasts polished lyrics and sophisticated soundscapes\, backed by a group of distinguished musicians and co-produced with bandmate and collaborator Timothy Karplus. The music encompasses life’s diverse experiences\, joyous and challenging. While songs like Goddamn Disaster and Extraordinary Love deliver a powerful emotional punch\, Convery still leaves room for sensuality and tenderness in songs like Look Out Below and Let’s Run Away. Themes of bravery and self-preservation resonate throughout.\n \nDespite roadblocks and limitations\, Convery’s dedication to music has prevailed and her story is shared throughout her work. Born and raised in Portland\, OR\, Katelyn graduated from U of O with a degree in journalism in 2007 then spent eight years living abroad.  She now splits time between Portland and the Oregon Coast. Katelyn plays all over the world and continues to gain appreciators of her music with each live show.

SUMMARY:John Bunzow - Music - 6 to 8pm
DESCRIPTION:Buy tickets below.  Tickets include dinner & entertainment.  Chef Matt Swain\, formerly of Fat Head Barbecue and McMenamins Gearhart will be catering with choice of smoked tri-tip\, roasted chicken\, or grilled portobello.  With roasted garlic and herb mashed potatoes and roasted seasonal Josi Farm vegetables. Extensive draft beer menu and cocktails available. \n\nPortland Oregon native John Bunzow’s mix of eclectic musical influences – melding blues\, country\, rock and even jazz – have helped establish him as an original artist of heartfelt depth\, substance and style. He is a masterful guitarist and songwriter firmly in the Americana genre. \n \n\nJohn enjoys tailoring his acoustic performance to the audience\, by covering songs from James Taylor\, Johnny Cash\, Bob Dylan\, Dwight Yoakum as well as originals! His delivery is personal\, and keeps fans coming back! \nAfter beginning his musical career in the Pacific Northwest playing in popular all-original bands the Cowboy Angels\, X-Angels and more for over two decades\, John set his sights on songwriter heaven – Nashville – scoring a songwriting contract with EMI Nashville/Famous Music and a recording contract with Liberty/Capitol Records. He quickly found his services in big demand with Nashville recording artists and had the opportunity to write for and perform with some of country and rock music’s biggest names. \nGreg Johnson\, Cascade Blues Association President said of John’s latest album “Concrete Paradise” (2020)\,  “you can call it Americana\, or you can call it roots music. It may\, for example\, bring to mind songwriters and artists like Steve Earle\, John Hiatt\, or maybe Dave Alvin. Those are righteous comparisons because John’s talents are definitely on par alongside those well-known musicians. But however it may come across to you\, there is only one word that is most fitting for a true description\, and that word is wow!”
