Hole 5 Par HCP

The Hole Story
Hole 5: This uphill par 3 is a true test of precision. The tee shot plays across a lake to a green that is wider than it is deep, demanding exact distance control. Two bunkers—one guarding the front left and another in the right center—wait to catch any approach that falls short or strays offline.
The putting surface slopes from back to front, and subtle tiers make pin placement especially important. A grassy hill rises behind the green, offering a potential backstop for high, soft shots—but beware: a ball that settles on top of the hill leaves a delicate, downhill recovery to a shallow green framed by sand below.
Smart play and disciplined trajectory are essential to escape this par 3 with confidence—and par.
Naming the Hole

The Large White Calla Lily, native to South Africa, is a perennial rhizome that thrives in the cool, moist conditions of the Oregon Coast. Elegant and timeless, it holds special meaning here as the first flower ever sold by Oregon Coastal Flowers, marking the beginning of our company’s floral legacy.
These clump-forming perennials produce striking white blooms with their familiar sculpted form. They burst into bloom in early spring, often with a second flush continuing until frost, while their lush, mostly evergreen foliage rises up to two feet high, with flower spikes reaching twice that height. The plants are deer resistant and bring a bold yet graceful texture to the landscape.
You’ll find these iconic calla lilies surrounding the lake you tee across on Hole 5—a beautiful reminder of both our roots and the natural elegance that defines the Oregon Coast.
