The Hole Story
A long par 5, usually plays into the wind. From the white tees you will need a 230 yard drive to clear the drainage ditch. Tee shot placement is crucial for a long second shot. The smaller elevated green is protected by a front left bunker, a miss right or left will have you chipping uphill.
Naming the Hole
Mt. Fuji White Cherry trees line this hole, left, back, and right. The *Prunus serrulata ‘Mt. Fuji’* is a flowering cherry tree with white, semi-double flowers and bronze-tinged foliage. It is a small, deciduous tree that can grow to be 12–15 ft tall and 20 ft wide. The tree has young leaves that are pale green with pointed tips, and bronze-tinged as they unfold. In the spring, the tree produces clusters of fragrant white flowers that contrast with the bronze-tinged foliage. The foliage then transforms into vibrant orange and red shades. The tree’s unique form gives the impression that the white flowers are tumbling down from the peak.
