Hole 9 Par HCP
Japanese Viburnum 5 7…

The Hole Story
This slight uphill, dog leg left par 5 requires precision off the tee. Bunkers line the left of the fairway, while trees line the right. Your 2nd shot placement is key for a clear look into this small, elevated green, which is guarded by a front left bunker.
Naming the Hole
Snowball viburnums are flowering shrubs with dark green leaves and bushy flowers that change color throughout their life cycle. Their round, clustering appearance makes them look like snowballs, hence the plant’s common name.
Snowball Viburnum, or European Cranberrybush, is a popular old-fashioned selection from yesteryear. Large, hydrangea-like, white flower clusters cover the entire shrub in spring. The blooms are so large that they really do seem like snowballs! This variety does not produce fruit. Snowball Viburnum is known for its flowers, but it has a lovely reddish-orange fall color as well.
Look for them planted to the Southeast of the #9 tee boxes.
